Troy and Stacy Alberson have worked in physical and occupational therapy since graduating from UCA in 1996. Together they own Arkansas Lymphedema and Hippos & Fish Specialized Pediatric Therapy Services in North Little Rock. They have two beautiful children Nate and Shelly who participate in their pediatric program each summer to develop friendships through peer playgroups.
Stacy Alberson - Occupational Therapist, OTR/L, PATH RI
Stacy is the co-owner of Hippos & Fish Pediatric Therapy Services and Arkansas Lymphedema and Therapy Providers. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas and has worked in the field of occupational therapy since 1996.

Stacy treats both pediatric and adult populations and specializes in sensory integration, therapeutic listening, hippotherapy, aquatic therapy and canine therapy treatment approaches to promote positive outcomes for each family she services. Stacy has been a registered therapeutic riding instructor with Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) since 2004. She is a registered therapist practicing hippotherapy with PATH since 2000. Stacy also has passed and maintained the Facility Dog Community Access Test through Canine Companions for Independence since 2007.

Stacy loves being outside fishing, canoeing or hiking with her family. She believes all therapists should "Accept each child and their families beliefs, Motivate the child and family to strive for the highest level of independence, Teach all children and families the methods to achieve their Best and this WILL CHANGE LIVES!"

Stacy's pride and joy are her two beautiful children. Nate a quick-witted young man and Shelly a mommy in training. They participate in the pediatric summer program building friendships through peer playgroups.

Marci Simpson is our part time Therapy Tech. She assists Stacy and other pediatric therapists during sessions. Her smile is contagious and she keeps our staff and clinic running smoothly with her cleaning and organization talents. Marci graduated from ACCESS School in 2007 and she has been with us ever since.
Omari is a 8-year-old Golden Retriever who is expertly trained by Canine Companions for Independence (CCI). In 2008 Omari and her facilitator, Stacy Alberson, passed the specialized training and the community access test at CCI and have been making powerful changes in individuals lives ever since. Omari works alongside our therapists promoting range of motion, visual tracking, motivation, sensory processing, voice tone, eye-contact, self control, anger management, responsibility, self-care skills with tooth brushing, hand washing and hair brushing, and peer play with games such as hide and seek, tag and fetch.
Andrea Schmidt - Physical Therapist, MSPT
Andrea graduated from Arkansas State University in 2007 with her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy and has specialized in pediatrics from the beginning of her career. Working with children is such a blessing and Andrea takes great pride in being an advocate for her patients and their families. She is always looking for opportunities to increase her knowledge and experiences that will challenge her to become a better therapist. She has worked in daycare, preschool, home, and private clinic settings working with a great variety of children. Andrea is a firm believer in the quote "Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life".

Andrea is from Northeast Arkansas and just recently moved to Cabot in September 2013 with her spitfire 3 year old little boy. She loves spending time with family and friends, reading, being outdoors, being involved in her church, and travel.
Caitlin Lawson- Office Manager
Caitlin grew up in North Little Rock and attended Abundant Life School. In 2009, she went on to study business at Southern Arkansas University. When Caitlin is not at work, you will find her with her twin baby girls, Kiley and Paisley.
Caitlin enjoys being on the water and doing anything outside. She loves connecting with people and spending time with family and friends. Caitlin has seen the impact of pediatric therapy in the life of her younger sister. Caitlin is a valued member of the Hippos & Fish family.
Abby Grace Lawson - Therapy Tech
Abby Grace joined Hippos & Fish in 2014. She attends Home School Academy in North Little Rock. Abby Grace has a contagious smile and enjoys talking and hanging out with her friends.
Nicole Hatcher / Physical Therapist
Nicole graduated with a doctorate degree in physical therapy at the University of Central Arkansas in August 2015. She has treated patients with strokes, traumatic brain injuries, developmental delays, orthopedic conditions, as well as pediatrics. Her main goal as a physical therapist is to help others function at their highest potential physically, mentally, and emotionally. She loves to bring the best out of anyone she comes in contact with.
Nicole loves to spend time with her husband (Terrod), son (Malik), and other family members. In her free time, she loves to sing and listen to various types of music. She is very excited to begin her career as a therapist at Hippos and Fish.
Leigh Ann Dreher - Occupational Therapist - MS, OTR/L -
Leigh Ann graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Teherapy in August 2012. Since graduation, she has worked in the preschool setting, specializing in ages 6 months to 5 years. She has experience treating clients with Down's Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Encephalitis, Loey's-Dietz Syndrome, Prader Willi Symdrome and Developmental delay. She also has experience working with children with behavioral disorders including ADD / ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, consuct disorder, and PTSD. She is trained in Sensory Integration and pediatric self-regulation techniques.
Leigh Ann lives in Maumelle with her three canine children, Marykate, a 12 year-old Cocker Spaniel, Ginger, a 4 year-old Shorkie, and Macy, a 6 month-old Labradoodle. She enjoys taking her puppies on walks, golfing, knitting, painting, and has recently taken up refinishing furniture.
