I’m a small-town girl who grew up camping and horse showing. I graduated from Arkansas State with my Bachelor in Communication Disorders, in May of 2010. Between my undergraduate and graduate education, I gained work experience as an Assistant Speech Language Pathologist with pediatrics, birth-5 years of age in Pine Bluff, AR. After a year+ of work experience, I went on to complete my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology at Louisiana Tech University. Following graduation, I got married to my college sweetheart and began my career in pediatrics at Ascent Childrens Healthcare Services with birth to 5. Following a year of work experience at Ascent, I was afforded the opportunity to join the Hippos and Fish dream team in 2016. Over the past 10 years, I’ve gained specialized training and hands-on experience with Sara Rosenfield-Johnson’s Horn/Straw/Bubble Hierarchy, The Picture Exchange Communication System, Lamp-Words For Life, AAC evaluations. Beckmann Oral Motor Protocol, Therapeutic Listening, Therapeutic Brushing, and Hippotherapy.
Currently, I live in Sherwood with my husband Danny, son Ean, and fur baby Ruby. I enjoy camping, hiking, and yoga.
